My name is Jenny, and I'm the owner of Just For Clicks Photography. I live in the rural area east of Kansas City with my husband, Joe (above) and our black lab, Ite.  When I am not busy else wise, I like to garden, cook, read and, as the the name of my business indicates, I really get a kick (or click) out of photography.

I'm not a full-time professional, nor do I have any formal training in the art... I just enjoy photography and the process of learning as much as I can as I go along.  While JFCP is a big part of my life, it is actually not my primary job or source of income. Many photographers out there are working another job in hopes that their photography business will turn into something full time. I'm a little different in that I actually like do what I can to ensure photography stays my joy rather than my job.  The money I make from JFCP is used to upgrade my equipment, improve the business, grow my knowledge, or to just have a little frivolous fun every now and then.  This give me the freedom to just enjoy what I do.

A really important part of that freedom, to me, is being able to run my business by the Golden Rule. I strive to keep my prices affordable to a broad range of people, because I want everyone to be able to enjoy portraits of their loved ones and memories. I offer payment plans for weddings, because I know I sure would have needed one.  My clients get free high-resolution downloads of all pictures in their gallery with every shoot I do, because when I used to pay for my pictures to be done, I always felt like I should be able to have them to keep.  I give clients access to a professional prints lab at direct, wholesale prices, because I want you to have quality prints that look great and will last a lifetime or longer. Finally, I take my time with each shoot, because even I get a little awkward on the flip side of a camera, and I wouldn't want to feel rushed on top of that.

At the end of the day, I walk a fine line between a part-time professional and an hobbyist. My goal with JFCP is to offer a solid, affordable alternative that lies somewhere between the services of full-time professionals and Aunt Ethel snapping pictures with her Polaroid. My personal hope is that you can see how much joy it brings me in my pictures.
